Refund Policy
Please read this Refund Policy carefully before subscribing to Sharpen. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. All Sales Are Final
This no-refund policy applies to all subscription tiers, including monthly and annual plans, as well as any one-time purchases.
2. Exceptions — Errors on Our Side Only
Sharpen will issue a refund only in the following limited circumstances, which constitute errors or failures attributable solely to Sharpen:
- You were charged the wrong amount due to a billing system error on our end
- You were charged after a confirmed cancellation that was properly processed in our system
- You were charged twice for the same billing period due to a technical error
- The Service was completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours during your paid billing period due to infrastructure failures within our control, and you were unable to use the Service at all during that time
Refund requests based on any other reason — including dissatisfaction with AI-generated outputs, change of mind, failure to cancel before renewal, or infrequent use — will not be honored.
3. How to Request a Refund (Eligible Cases Only)
If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 2, you must contact us within 7 days of the charge in question. Requests submitted after 7 days will not be considered.
To submit a refund request, email sharp3nrp@gmail.com with the subject line "Billing Error" and include:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the charge
- A description of the error
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
4. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period. You will retain access to your paid features through the end of your current paid billing period.
5. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Charges
If you believe your payment method was used to purchase a Sharpen subscription without your authorization, please contact us immediately at sharp3nrp@gmail.com and we will work with you and Stripe to investigate and resolve the matter.
6. Governing Terms
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes regarding refunds are subject to the dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms of Service.
